KONACHA - finely chopped tea leaves

Konacha consists of finely chopped tea leaves, which are sorted out in the production of high-quality teas, mostly Gyokuro. During drying, the leaves of Gyokuro, the shadow tea, are rolled. Some leaves break. These are then sorted out for Konacha and cut evenly. Konacha is thus an inexpensive alternative to the high-priced Gyokuro. Konatcha has a fine, slightly sweet taste without any bitterness.
